Can We Learn About History from Film?

A few months ago someone chose to say to me "I don't see why movies are so important. Not like we can learn anything from them. The don't do anything."

Yeah.

Well all I can do with that statement is post this video and then post this question for everyone. What did you learn from this video about the US pov on the situation? Is this nothing? Can we learn nothing from this video?

Food and Movies?

In Forest Gump, we see how Forest makes a friend named Bubba who comes from a family of sharpers. They know everything about shrimp! After the war, Forest creates a his own shrimping business named Bubba Gump Shrimp.

Did you know there are restaurants all across the world!?

Can you guess what food they specialize in?

If you are a fan of shrimp and like corny themed restaurants, check it out!
