As you may know, the Academy Awards are not far away. This year there are many great films nominated for a line of great awards. But who do you think will win the award for Best Picture?

My bet is that Lincoln will win, but please, share what YOU think. WHO WILL WIN???
Lincoln doesn't have a shot. Ever since Ben Affleck got snubbed with no Oscar nom for director, it's been winning everything: Critics Choice, Golden Globe, SAG, PGA. If not Argo, I think Silver Linings Playbook has the momentum. In my opinion, Zero Dark Thirty should win. While I haven't seen it yet, I have a feeling it's going to blow me away. Out of movies I have seen The Hobbit remains my favorite movie of the year, followed by Django and The Grey.
ReplyDeleteThe Hobbit is also my favorite, but I will say it could have been shorter and the films compressed into two films rather than three. This will be a future post that I would love to hear your thoughts on.
ReplyDeleteAs for Zero Dark Thirty, I'm split, looks good but not accurate at all to what happened. I feel it will be between Amour, Argo and Lincoln.
Do you think The Hobbit will win for makeup or will Les Mis or Hitchcock win?
